The Mooer Groove Loop X2 combines a stereo phrase looper and drum machine in a single pedal. The looper provides 14 save slots, with up to 10 minutes of recording time per track, for a total of 140 minutes of stereo audio. Count-in mode can be switched on or off, while Auto-Record can start recording automatically when an instrument signal is detected.
Time Stretch lets you change playback speed without affecting the original pitch. The drum machine offers 121 drum grooves across 11 musical genres, with 11 variations for each genre. Genre and Pattern are selected using dedicated rotary switches, and tempo can be set with Tap Tempo. When the drum machine is used with the looper, the tempo is detected automatically during playback.
The Justify function keeps the drum groove and loop in sync. Looper audio and drum machine audio can be routed to two separate outputs, and the included editor software supports importing and exporting audio files. The software can be downloaded free of charge from the Mooer website.
