The Fender Custom Shop presents the Limited Edition '72 Telecaster® Custom Thinline Relic®, a stunning guitar that combines vintage Telecaster aesthetics from different eras. Its lightweight, resonant body is crafted from select two-piece roasted ash and features tortoise binding around the body.

The roasted 3A flame maple neck features a ’63 Strat Style “C” Back Shape and is paired with a premium 3A rosewood fingerboard adorned with elegant mother-of-pearl dot inlays. The Wide-Range CuNiFe® humbucking pickup in the neck position delivers rich, full-bodied tones, while the Custom Shop Hand-Wound Loaded '51 Nocaster® bridge pickup offers classic Telecaster bite and twang.

Additional features include a 9.5" radius, 21 Medium Vintage Frets (47095), a bone nut, a Three-Saddle Custom “Chopped” Telecaster® Bridge with Custom Shop RSD Saddles, Vintage-Style "F" Tuners, an American Vintage ’59–‘64 String Tree, a Deluxe Hardshell Case, a strap and a Certificate of Authenticity.
