The EVH Titanium D-Tuna enables you to drop the low E string to D and back instantly. Change tunings without interrupting your set or reaching for another guitar—simply slide the mechanism in for E or out for D.
Constructed from titanium, the D-Tuna is stronger, lighter and more reliable than ever. It is resistant to corrosion and wear, provides smoother action and has a premium visual appeal, making it well suited to the rigors of the road.
The D-Tuna has been standard equipment on Eddie Van Halen's personal guitars and on signature-series guitars equipped with locking tremolos since the early 1990s. Designed and used by EVH, it is endorsed by professional players including Warren DeMartini (Ratt), Michael Wilton (Queensrÿche) and Dave "The Snake" Sabo (Skid Row).
The D-Tuna is simple to use and comes complete with installation hardware and easy-to-follow instructions. Once installed and set up, the mechanism lets you switch between E and Drop D by sliding it in or out. It is made to retrofit most Floyd Rose-style tremolos in minutes.
