Effects, practice and recording

The Ampero Mini includes amplifier and cabinet models and can be used with a guitar amplifier, PA system, Hi-Fi system or headphones. It can also function as an audio interface for recording on a PC or Mac.

The looper provides up to 100 seconds of recording time, allowing you to create rhythm guitar parts, practise solos and melodies, or test how two guitar parts work together. When recording with stereo effects, the recording time is reduced to 50 seconds.

The built-in drum machine offers 100 drum rhythms for practice or recording.

CDCM HD + F.I.R.E modelling

Hotone’s CDCM HD + F.I.R.E technology models each component of the original device and captures dynamic variations in the guitar’s input signal. According to Hotone, this provides a dynamic, detailed and immediate recreation of the modeled amplifiers and pedals.

The Ampero Mini can be expanded with an external controller for additional footswitches or an expression pedal for wah, volume and other selected parameters. New effects and Impulse Responses can be downloaded from Hotone’s website or from other providers. IRs can reproduce the character of speakers, cabinets, microphones and recording methods, allowing you to shape the final part of the guitar sound without having the physical equipment available.
