The Valeton VES-2 Dapper Bass is a multi-effects unit for electric bass, featuring the essential effects and functions commonly used by bass players. It includes a compressor, octave effects, chorus, envelope filter, built-in tuner, effects loop, DI output and headphone output.

The compressor provides warm, natural compression that helps make the bass sound more prominent and present. The chorus effect can be used to create a richer, wider bass sound, while the octave effects and envelope filter provide additional tonal options. An extensive control section makes it easy to find the desired core sound.

The effects loop allows external effects to be integrated, while the DI output can be used to send the bass signal to a mixer or other recording equipment. The Dapper Bass includes a power supply.
