The Valeton VES-5 Dapper Indie combines several essential guitar effects in one compact unit. The pedalboard is designed with the needs of indie guitarists in mind, while also suiting ambient rock and a wide range of other guitar styles.

Dapper Indie connects between the guitar and amplifier. Its built-in cabinet simulator also allows you to play through headphones, a hi-fi system or a PA system without a traditional guitar amplifier, while retaining a full sound with plenty of low end. This makes the pedalboard suitable for home use, rehearsal spaces and live performances.

Effects and features

• Overdrive:
  The overdrive section can add crunch and sustain, ranging from soft blues-inspired overdrive to more aggressive distortion and fuzz.
• Delay:
  Three built-in delay types – analog, tape and reverse – provide echo effects. The delay speed and number of repeats can be adjusted.
• Reverb:
  Three reverb types – Room, Hall and Plate – add ambience and depth.
• Modulation:
  The modulation section offers chorus, phaser and flanger, with individual control over intensity and speed.

The pedalboard also features a built-in tuner and a tap tempo function, allowing you to set the tempo manually for several of the effects. The signal-chain order can be changed, so overdrive can, for example, be placed before or after the modulation effects.

The Valeton VES-5 Dapper Indie has a simple, compact design and includes a 9V power supply.
