The Tone City Kaffir Lime is a boost and overdrive pedal based on familiar green TS-style stompboxes, with some extra features. It provides up to +30 dB of volume boost, while its characteristic mid-hump adds saturation and sustain when the pedal is used to drive an already overdriven amplifier. It also works well with a clean channel to create a natural, bluesy crunch.
The Kaffir Lime can push the amplifier’s front end into natural breakup, and its flexible 2-band EQ makes it possible to adapt the pedal to almost any amplifier or guitar.
