The Tone City Comp Engine is a compressor pedal with a classic OTA design (Operational Transconductance Amplifier), similar to the circuit design used in several well-known boutique compressor pedals. Its wide dynamic range covers everything from subtle compression to heavily squashed sounds, making it suitable for a variety of styles and tones. The pedal has a clean, low-noise character and true bypass.
