The Tone City Bad Horse is based on one of the most famous and expensive overdrive pedals of all time. It offers an extremely wide gain range, from a clean boost to creamy, thick and chewy overdrive, with everything in between.
The germanium diodes in the drive section retain a clear timbre and produce a natural overdrive full of harmonics at higher gain settings. The Bad Horse preserves the unique character of the connected equipment, while responding dynamically to pick attack and the guitar’s Volume control.
