The Starcaster® broke the mold of semi-hollow guitar design with its offset body shape when it was introduced in the '70s, offering versatile sound and distinctive styling for adventurous players. The Affinity Series® Starcaster Deluxe features a lightweight, arched semi-hollow body with a center block for minimal feedback, along with a slim and comfortable C-shaped neck and a familiar Stratocaster® headstock shape. The headstock is also akin to those found on Telecaster models that share the “Deluxe” moniker.

An adjustable bridge with stopbar tailpiece provides solid tuning stability, while sealed die-cast tuning machines with split shafts offer smooth, accurate tuning and easy restringing. A pair of Squier humbucking pickups, voiced in-house at Fender, deliver fat, rich tone for a wide variety of styles, with 3-way switching for versatile sonic variety. This model is ready to accompany any player at any stage.
