The Meris 440 is a 500 Series preamp designed for guitar recording. Its all-analogue signal path combines Cinemag™ transformers with high-performance hybrid-discrete op-amps, while the post-effects loop makes it possible to integrate guitar pedals into the signal from a microphone placed in front of vocals, acoustic instruments or guitar cabinets.
The input section provides up to 60 dB of gain, while the output trim can be adjusted from -27 dB to +12 dB. The Return jack can also be used as a DI input after the filters, pad and phase inversion.
