Gigagain Balance 1.45 mm is designed for guitarists who want maximum control without sacrificing playing flow. The combination of NGAP design, carefully selected materials and ergonomic shaping provides a pick with low noise, high transparency and a natural playing feel for both studio work and live performance.

Developed in collaboration with musicians

This pick is the result of a collaboration between Gigagain and GEARXXX Workshop, which has specialised in producing high-precision picks for demanding musicians since 2016. The goal was to develop a pick with low noise, high transparency and a natural playing feel – qualities often sought by studio musicians.

NGAP design for smooth string contact

Rather than focusing only on the tip, the entire edge of the pick is designed as a unified surface. This creates a smooth transition all the way around, without resistance or catching during the attack. The result is a more fluid playing experience, allowing the pick to move easily through the strings.

Designed for a natural picking angle

Most guitarists play with a picking angle of 20–30 degrees. The NGAP series is specifically designed for this angle, providing effective string contact without requiring changes to your technique. This contributes to improved control and a fuller tone.

A balanced combination of flexibility and attack

The core of the pick has a slight degree of flexibility and responds quickly to your attack, making it suitable for fast passages, alternate picking and arpeggios. At the same time, the edge is reinforced for a clear attack and a punchier tone without compromising durability.

Ergonomic grip for secure control

The lightly curved shape and discreet grip zones provide a stable, comfortable feel in the hand. The pick stays secure without requiring a tight grip, which can make playing more relaxed over longer periods.

Optimised surface for grip and tone

The contact surface facing the strings is polished for a smooth, controlled attack, while the area held between the fingers has a more matte texture. This provides improved grip and a more consistent tone with clear overtones and less unwanted noise.

Gigagain Balance 1.45 mm is a pick for guitarists who want a more precise, fluid playing experience shaped by careful attention to detail.
