Gigagain Modern 1.70 mm is designed for guitarists who play fast and precisely and need full control over every pick stroke. Its thicker profile and stiff response make it well suited to modern genres such as progressive metal, thrash, prog and instrumental rock.

The pick was developed through a collaboration between Gigagain and GEARXXX Workshop, which has focused on producing high-quality picks for demanding musicians since 2016. The aim was to create a pick with high transparency, low noise and maximum precision, suitable for both studio recording and live performance.

The entire edge of the pick is machined as a single unit, creating a smooth transition without resistance. This allows the pick to move quickly and consistently through the strings, making it well suited to fast riffs, alternate picking and technical sequences.

The NGAP series is designed for the typical 20–30-degree picking angle. This provides consistent contact with the strings without requiring you to change your playing style, resulting in a more direct response and a more controlled tone.

At 1.70 mm thick, the pick has a stiff core that provides a clear and precise attack. It is suited to tight rhythm playing and fast lead parts, where every note needs to be sharp and defined without unwanted flexibility.

The slightly curved shape and discreet grip areas provide a stable and comfortable hold, even during intensive playing. This gives you maximum control without requiring unnecessary tension in your hand.

The contact surface against the strings is polished to minimise resistance and provide a fast, even attack. The matte grip surface provides a secure feel in the hand. The result is a clear, defined tone with distinct overtones and minimal noise.
