The American Professional Jaguar draws from more than sixty years of innovation, inspiration and evolution to meet the demands of today's working player.

Its popular Deep "C" neck profile is slim at the nut and gradually fills out toward the neck joint, creating a natural feel for both chording and single-note playing. Smooth, hand-rolled fingerboard edges, a "Super-Natural" satin finish, and a rounded, newly sculpted neck heel with a beveled neck plate provide a comfortable feel and easy access to the upper register. The Jaguar's hallmark 24" short scale puts a uniquely comfortable feel under your fingers, with less string tension, effortless bends and a warm, full-bodied character.

New V-Mod III Jaguar single-coil pickups are voiced specifically for each position and slightly overwound for punch and presence while retaining vintage warmth and clarity. They deliver the sparkle and chime the Jaguar is known for. The bridge pickup features a tap function, activated by a push/push switch, for either a powerful, throaty sound or a lower-output, sparkly and vintage-accurate tone.

At the flip of a switch, the series-mode rhythm circuit puts both pickups in series for a thicker tone with increased output, controlled by independent volume and tone roller pots. From classic Jaguar warble to deep, Strat-style dives, the Panorama Tremolo system with pop-in arm puts a full range of expressive vibrato at your fingertips. The ClassicGear J-Bridge features tight-tolerance machined saddles that lock each string's break angle and contact point, maximizing vibrational coupling to the body while correcting the intonation and stability issues inherent in vintage-style offset bridges.

The American Professional Jaguar delivers instant familiarity and sonic versatility, with broad-ranging improvements that add up to a new standard for professional instruments.
