The Fender® Vintera® III series delivers meticulously crafted vintage recreations that capture the authentic look, feel and tone of iconic Fender guitars from the '50s, '60s and '70s.
The Vintera® III Mid '60s Jazzmaster® features an alder body with a balanced, lively tone, resonant punch, beefy mids and a robust low end. Its maple neck has a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25" radius and vintage-tall frets. The authentic mid-'60s “C”-shaped neck profile is comfortably rounded, starts slim at the nut and thickens moderately toward the 12th fret, providing a familiar playing experience and comfortable feel. The slightly taller frets offer added room for big bends and wide vibrato.
Two meticulously crafted vintage-style mid-'60s-spec Jazzmaster pickups capture bright, jangly tones with a warm, woody midrange, smooth attack, rich full-bodied sound and distinctive depth and clarity. The vintage-style floating tremolo with push-in tremolo arm offers classic Jazzmaster® warble and a range of vibrato effects, from subtle surf movement and expressive indie shimmer to more radical shoegaze dives and glides.
The lead/rhythm circuit makes it easy to set preset rhythm and lead sounds and switch between them on the fly. Period-correct vintage-style tuning machines complete the authentic look while delivering superior tuning precision.
