Fender's modular design story began in 1946, and guitarists have been writing their own chapters ever since. Our pioneering bolt-on neck construction was not just about making guitars easier to service—it was about giving players the power to shape their sound. Today, every genuine Fender replacement neck carries that legacy forward, offering possibilities for customization, restoration and reinvention.

Crafted in the same facility as our U.S.-made instruments, the American Professional Classic Jazzmaster neck is designed to suit almost any playing style. Its comfortable Modern C neck profile is not as deep as most U- and V-shaped neck profiles, while the satin urethane finish provides a smooth, fast playing feel and facilitates faster movement up and down the neck. The 9.5"-radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets supports fluid leads and bends without choking, and its hand-rolled edges provide a slightly broken-in feel.

The 1.685"-wide synthetic bone nut is made of melamine and offers resonance and sustain. It is pre-slotted with pilot string-location grooves to make spacing easier when performing the final string-slot filing. For genuine Fender authenticity, the neck is serialized and laser-engraved with the “Genuine Fender Parts” logo on the heel.
