Gear up and take your performance to the next level with Player II Modified. Featuring key upgrades for the modern guitarist and bassist, these versatile instruments are designed to handle anything you throw at them.
The Player II Modified Active Jazz Bass® is a classic bass designed with the modern player in mind. Everything about the neck is designed for fast, fluid playability, from the Modern “C” profile with a silky-smooth satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable 9.5” radius slab rosewood or one-piece maple fingerboard with smooth rolled edges and 20 medium jumbo frets. The alder body delivers classic Fender punch and is available in a variety of new finishes.
The new Noiseless™ Jazz Bass® pickups deliver classic Fender thump and growl while eliminating unwanted noise. The new 18-volt active preamp features a passive tone control and a 3-band EQ with a refined mid-Q and center frequency. Transparent at unity, it provides additional control for shaping your sound, while the pickups deliver Fender’s most natural-sounding noiseless performance yet.
The 4-saddle HiMass™ bridge features a top-load design with a higher-mass plate that adds resonance and sustain. Its four beefed-up chrome-plated zinc saddles sit securely in saddle slots for rock-solid intonation and tuning stability. Tapered-shaft tuning machines pull the strings toward the headstock for a sharper break angle, further improving tuning stability and sustain. The Graph Tech® TUSQ® nut provides exceptional tuning stability and produces more midrange harmonics.
Upgrade your arsenal with the Player II Modified Active Jazz Bass®.
