Three hand-wound Custom Shop El Diablo Strat® pickups provide the foundation for this guitar's voice. The reverse-wound, reverse-polarity middle pickup reduces hum while delivering classic Stratocaster® clarity and punch. A Greasebucket tone circuit for the bridge pickup preserves low-end response when rolling off treble, while the traditional control layout offers precise tonal sculpting.

The quartersawn maple neck features a comfortable '63 Strat "C" back shape and a 3A rosewood fingerboard with a modern 9.5"–12" compound radius for enhanced playability. Its 21 narrow-tall frets (6105) offer precise control and smooth bending.
