Eric Clapton and Cry Baby

From The Yardbirds and Cream to an extensive solo career, Eric Clapton’s masterful guitar playing has helped shape rock ’n’ roll as we know it. Throughout his career, he has used the expressive power of the wah pedal to deepen and amplify the dramatic resonance of key passages from some of his most iconic recordings.

In 1986, Clapton began working with the late Jim Dunlop Sr., becoming one of the first and most important Cry Baby artists. Dunlop’s relationship with the legendary guitarist continues to this day.
