The Donner Seeker Deluxe Bass is a 4-string J-style electric bass with two Donner Custom J-style pickups and passive electronics. Finished in sonic blue, it is designed for beginners and more experienced players who want a versatile bass for home practice, band playing or recording.

The pickups are positioned at the neck and bridge. The neck pickup delivers a warm, rounded tone, while the bridge pickup adds more punch and a brighter character. The pickups can be used individually or blended to produce a balanced bass sound with clear low end.

Passive controls

The passive electronics feature separate volume controls for each pickup, along with a shared tone control. This makes it easy to adjust each pickup's contribution directly from the bass and shape the sound from rounder and fuller to more focused with a clearer attack.

Neck and fingerboard

Both the neck and fingerboard are made from roasted maple. The neck has a slim C profile and satin finish, while the fingerboard features white dot inlays and rolled fret edges.

The bass has a 34" scale length (864 mm) and a 38 mm nut width. This full-scale length provides room for stable grooves and precise bass lines.

Classic bass styling

The body is made from poplar and finished in gloss polyurethane in sonic blue. The cream-colored pickguard and pickup covers, chrome control plate and open-gear vintage-style tuners contribute to its classic appearance.
