The Donner STARRYCRTL is a compact MIDI controller for hands-on control of your music software. With 8 faders, 8 rotary knobs and dedicated buttons for key mixer functions, it lets you work more directly with your project while reducing the need for a mouse and keyboard.

The controller connects wirelessly via Bluetooth, giving you more freedom to move around your computer, tablet or phone. Its built-in lithium battery can be charged via USB-C, and the STARRYCRTL can also be connected directly via USB-C when you prefer a wired connection.

8 channels with fader, rotary knob and function buttons

The STARRYCRTL features 8 channel strips, each with a fader, a rotary knob and dedicated buttons for mute, solo, record and channel selection.

The faders can be used to adjust the volume of different tracks, while the rotary knobs can control panning, effects or other parameters. The controller also includes transport buttons for playback, pause, recording and project navigation.

LED feedback for precise adjustments

The built-in LED system helps you see how the controller’s physical settings correspond to the values in your DAW.

When a fader is not set to the same value as the selected channel in the software, the LED indicator shows which direction the fader should be moved. This reduces the risk of sudden volume changes and makes smooth, precise adjustments easier.

Mackie Control Universal

The Donner STARRYCRTL supports Mackie Control Universal, also known as MCU. This control protocol makes the controller compatible with many popular DAW applications.

It can be used with compatible versions of:

• Cubase

MCU support simplifies setup, as many functions are automatically mapped to the corresponding controls in the music software.

Adapt the controller to your workflow

In addition to its MCU functions, the MIDI controller can be customised via software. You can edit MIDI CC messages, notes, MIDI channels and aftertouch, among other settings.

This means the STARRYCRTL can be used for more than traditional mixer control. Its buttons, faders and rotary knobs can also be assigned to virtual instruments, effects, automation and other MIDI-compatible functions.

Compact format for studio and mobile production

With a width of just 25.6 cm, the STARRYCRTL takes up little space on your desk. Its low weight and wireless connectivity also make it practical for mobile setups, teaching and music production on the go.
