The Demonfx Prince Of Sound is an electric guitar effects pedal that combines overdrive, boost and distortion in a single pedal format. It is a clone of the Prince of Tone, whose basic concept originates from the well-known Marshall Bluesbreaker pedal. The sound is characterized by clear, articulate distortion that responds to picking dynamics and playing style.

The pedal can be used both to provide a subtle lift to an amplifier’s existing sound and to deliver more pronounced drive and distortion, without making the setup more complex.

OD, Boost and Distortion

The operating mode is selected with the three-way switch: OD, Boost or Distortion. OD is used for overdrive sounds, Boost raises the signal level, while Distortion provides a more heavily distorted tone. This allows the pedal to be adapted to the amplifier, guitar and role it is intended to serve on the pedalboard.

Tone controls

The pedal features three rotary controls: Volume, Distortion and Tone. Volume adjusts the pedal’s output level, Distortion controls the amount of distortion, and Tone shapes the character of the sound. The controls allow settings ranging from light drive to more pronounced distortion.
