ADAM Audio A4V
The ADAM Audio A4V is designed for small studio spaces, short listening distances and immersive multi-speaker configurations. It delivers accurate, full-bodied sound in a compact form factor.
Compact two-way monitor
The A4V is a two-way monitor featuring a 4-inch long-throw woofer made from the same Multi-Layer Mineral (MLM) fibers used in other A Series speakers, along with the classic X-ART tweeter. Onboard DSP-based tuning makes it easy to adjust the sound to your room.
With a frequency range of 52 Hz to 45 kHz, the A4V accommodates a broad range of audio applications, from producing podcasts to mixing string quartets. It also fits well into immersive and 3D setups.
Technology
- A Control Remote Software: The DSP-based functionality of all A Series monitors can be controlled remotely and in real time over ethernet using A Control.
- Rotatable HPS Waveguide and X-ART Tweeter: Made from a new glass fiber polymer compound, the HPS waveguide enables the X-ART tweeter to disperse sound throughout the room with controlled consistency.
- Bass Reflex System, Cabinets and Mounting: The new A Series cabinets build on ADAM Audio’s heritage, particularly that of the AX Series.
- Automated Room Correction with Sonarworks: ADAM Audio partners with Sonarworks on an automated room correction solution that runs directly on the DSP of A Series monitors.
- Hybrid Amplification: The A Series combines the strengths of digital and analog technology.
- Multi-Layer Mineral Woofer (MLM): New materials and advanced analysis and design processes have led to the development of the new long-throw woofers.
- Midrange Driver: A Series midrange drivers deliver clean sound in the critical part of the frequency range where humans are particularly sensitive to coloration.
- Voicings: A “Voicing” is a predefined sound profile for an A Series monitor. The rear panel provides two options: “UNR” and “Pure”.
- Room Adaptation: The rear panel provides four bands of room-adaptation equalization: Bass, Desk, Presence and Treble.
- Digital Signal Processing: The A Series uses DSP-based electronics to provide greater tuning precision than analog-only speakers.
