ADAM Audio A44H
Built to reveal
The A44H offers a low-profile alternative to the A Series A7V while delivering similar performance characteristics.
High standards, low profile
With a width of 19 inches, the horizontally oriented A44H can sit on a standard rack shelf or be mounted above or below a display. Its completely new design also allows the A44H to serve as a center speaker in immersive and 3D speaker configurations.
Dual 4-inch long-throw woofers and the X-ART tweeter deliver a wide frequency range, while onboard DSP-based tuning capabilities make it easy to adjust the sound.
Technology
- A Control Remote Software: The DSP-based functionality of all A Series monitors can be controlled remotely and in real time over Ethernet using A Control.
- Rotatable HPS Waveguide and X-ART Tweeter: Made from a new glass fiber polymer compound, the HPS waveguide enables the X-ART tweeter to disperse sound throughout the room with controlled consistency.
- Bass Reflex System, Cabinets and Mounting: The new A Series cabinets build on ADAM Audio’s heritage, particularly that of the AX Series.
- Automated Room Correction with Sonarworks: ADAM Audio is proud to partner with Sonarworks on an automated room correction solution that runs directly on the DSP of A Series monitors.
- Hybrid Amplification: The A Series combines the best of both digital and analog worlds.
- Multi-Layer Mineral Woofer (MLM): The latest materials and advanced analysis and design processes have led to the development of the new long-throw woofers.
- Midrange Driver: A Series midrange drivers deliver clean sound in the critical part of the frequency range where humans are especially sensitive to coloration of sound.
- Voicings: A “Voicing” is a predefined sound profile of an A Series monitor. On the back panel, you will find two different selections: “UNR” and “Pure”.
- Room Adaptation: On the back panel of A Series speakers, you will find four bands of room-adaptation equalization: Bass, Desk, Presence and Treble.
- Digital Signal Processing: The A Series harnesses the transformative power of DSP-based electronics to provide greater tuning precision than analog-only speakers.
