The Ibanez RGR6BSP-IPT is a Limited Spot version of the RG Reverse, finished in Iron Pewter with an attitude made for metal. The guitar is equipped with Fishman pickups featuring medium-hot output and a flat EQ curve that cuts through and stays focused even with heavily distorted tones. This makes it suited to hard riffing and solo playing.

The Dyna-MIX 10 system provides a range of different pickup configurations. The model also features an ebony fingerboard and a stable Edge Zero II tremolo bridge. Exclusive to this model, the Edge Zero II bridge has a striking blue finish that matches the blue Fishman pickups. This is the first time Ibanez has used a coloured bridge in this way.
