The Ibanez ALT30-DOM is an electro-acoustic western guitar featuring the Altstar Compact Body shape, borrowed from the highly popular AEW series in a slightly more compact format. Its comfortable body has a gently rounded cutaway for easy access to the highest frets. The Dark Orange Metallic high-gloss finish gives the guitar a distinctive appearance.
The guitar offers a relatively rich acoustic tone, but is primarily designed for players who usually perform amplified—into a studio setup, through a PA system, or with an acoustic amplifier. An Ibanez undersaddle piezo pickup and Ibanez AEQ-2UT preamp with onboard tuner provide a flexible amplified acoustic sound. With a 648 mm scale length and 43 mm nut width, it can feel familiar to both electric guitarists and traditional acoustic guitarists, whether you play with a pick or your fingers.
