The Electromatic™ Jet® Club 1 Pickup is designed for powerful Gretsch sound, iconic style and superior playability. Its versatile character ranges from robust clean tones to intense overdrive, combining refined performance with a chambered mahogany body, a PureVolt™ Twin Six™ humbucker and advanced electronics.

Construction and playability

The chambered mahogany body features sculpted contours, a rounded heel and subtle comfort contours for a balanced, ergonomic fit. The rounded heel provides unobstructed access to the highest frets.

The mahogany neck has a balanced, rounded Performance “C” profile with tapered shoulders and enough mass for precise playability in all positions. The 12"-radius bound rosewood fingerboard has a smooth feel, warm, woody tone, aged white one-ply binding, pearloid Neo Classic™ thumbnail inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets.

Hardware and electronics

The GraphTech® NuBone® nut provides consistent, balanced tone, enhanced resonance and sustain, and superior playability. Its optimized break angle and string pull to the tuning keys help prevent strings from sticking or slipping, contributing to stable tuning.

The PureVolt™ Twin Six™ humbucker features twelve adjustable pole pieces for precise attack and flexibility. In the bridge position, Alnico V magnets and specially calibrated winds of plain enamel-coated wire deliver balanced humbucker power with clarity and versatility. Vacuum wax potting helps minimize noise and interference.

The Lockdown™ locking adjustable wraparound bridge combines bridge and tailpiece in one unit. Adjustable saddles provide precise intonation, while the locking bridge posts secure the bridge for stable tuning, easy string changes and efficient transfer of string energy. This contributes to enhanced sustain, note attack and a fuller tone with a more percussive attack.

The advanced control circuit includes a master volume with treble bleed for precise adjustment while maintaining clarity at any volume, plus a master tone control calibrated for consistent tone across its range. A push/pull switch on the tone control provides true single-coil tones with a snappy, glassy character.

The guitar has a high-gloss finish, Gretsch colors and a split-V headstock.
