The G2655 Streamliner Center Block Jr. with V-Stoptail brings powerful sound and style to the modern era in a smaller package. Its sleek design is made for guitarists who demand more performance, more style and, most importantly, more volume from an instrument, while retaining everything expected from a Gretsch.

The G2655 features a smaller double-cutaway arched maple body with a chambered center block. This center block design balances lightweight comfort with a full, rich sound and increased presence, resulting in improved attack and sustain as well as excellent feedback rejection.

All-new Broad'Tron™ BT-3S humbucking pickups use a combination of Alnico 5 and Alnico 2 magnets to provide stronger mids, tight yet full lows, and smooth, clear highs with a musical presence.

The traditional control layout includes individual neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, a master volume control and three-way pickup switching. A push/pull pot on the master volume enables coil-splitting for useful single-coil sounds and added tonal versatility.

The G2655 also features a soft "C"-shaped nato neck, a 12"-radius laurel fingerboard with pearloid Neo Classic™ thumbnail inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets, plus a real bone nut. An anchored Adjusto-Matic™ bridge, Gretsch V-Stop tailpiece, Radio control knobs, nickel hardware and a 1-ply Cream or 3-ply Black pickguard complete the specification.
