The American Professional HotShot Telecaster draws on more than seventy years of innovation, inspiration and evolution to meet the demands of today’s working player.

Its popular Deep "C" neck profile is slim at the nut and gradually fills out toward the neck joint, creating a natural feel for both chording and single-note playing. Smooth, hand-rolled fingerboard edges, a "Super-Natural" satin finish, a rounded, newly sculpted neck heel and a beveled neck plate provide a comfortable playing feel and easy upper-register access.

Two V-Mod III Telecaster single-coil pickups are voiced specifically for their respective positions, delivering the twang, snap and snarl associated with the Telecaster alongside vintage warmth and a crisp, clear sound. A specially placed V-Mod III Stratocaster single-coil pickup in the middle position works with five-way switching to add authentic Strat-inspired tones and a new dimension of Fender sound, from classic Tele bite to glassy middle and in-between sounds.

A performance-friendly push-push switch on the tone control adds the pickup at the neck to positions 1 and 2, unlocking tonal combinations not normally found on a Telecaster. ClassicGear Precision Potentiometers provide smooth, consistent control with custom torque, precise resistance and a musical taper for effortless, reliable performance.

The new top-load/string-through Telecaster bridge features ClassicGear Compensated Brass Bullet Saddles. Retaining the classic tone of brass saddles, they provide excellent intonation and flexible setup options, allowing the tension and tone of each string to be tailored individually. Top-loading the strings reduces tension for a mellower twang and springy attack.

The American Professional HotShot Telecaster delivers instant familiarity and sonic versatility, with broad-ranging improvements designed for professional performance.
