The Made in Japan Traditional Series revives Fender’s most beloved classic designs with a modern twist. Authentic Fender® DNA, vintage-voiced pickups, iconic silhouettes and bold new colorways combine with the precision of Japanese craftsmanship to create instruments that are classic in spirit and modern in expression.

The Made in Japan Traditional 2025 Collection ’60s Stratocaster® is a limited-edition take on one of the world’s most recognized instruments. Within the collection, the “Competition Black / 3-Color Sunburst” and “Competition 3-Color Sunburst / Aged Natural” models replace the traditional chromatic stripe with bold gradients of Fender’s signature 3-Color Sunburst or Aged Natural—a distinctive interpretation of the classic competition look. The “Stardust Pink” and “Stardust Blue” finishes blend shimmering glitter into soft, contemporary pastel hues, complemented by Fender’s signature burst treatment for a finish unique to this collection.

A gloss-finished basswood body, “U”-shaped maple neck with a 9.5-inch-radius fingerboard and 21 vintage-style frets provide the classic playability that defines the Traditional series. The six-saddle vintage-style Synchronized Tremolo bridge and original Traditional Series pickups deliver expressive, authentic vintage tone.
