Ritchie Blackmore is not just some well-known player, he has created THE most famous guitar riff in the universe. For us a reason to have him as an ENGL artist. He has also left a very fine ear for sound and a powerful footprint in rock music, so we created his signature amp based on the Savage. This is much slimmed down as the Savage - but only in terms of features, sonically, he draws just the same. The 5881 powertubes provide just that typical vintage sound that carries the inimitable signature of Ritchie Blackmore. The two Channels turn out to be secretly four Channels, because there are two switchable Master Volumes and the proven Lo / Hi Gain circuit.
