The SB92C-B is a P90 shape replacement humbucker pickup with very low noise dual coils. Designed for the neck position, it is well known for its high clarity and definition. It has a warm, clear tone and brings out every nuance in the inner voices of complex chords. The attack and overall quality of tone is in the region between crisp, acoustic tone and the rounded, or “diffused”, treble quality of vintage humbuckers. This allows a very flexible interaction with on-board and amplifier tone settings. With the addition of one of our preamps, the gain can be modified in many ways for tonal shaping and for overdrive characteristics.These mount with 3 screws (“2 + 1? like bass pickups) for optimum tilt control.
