NTG-1 is a cardioid shotgun microphone designed for use in film, video, and TV production, but the microphone is also an excellent alternative for overhead miking of drum kits, choirs, etc. The microphone is extremely lightweight, which is perfect for mounting directly on a camera or boom. They come with a standard microphone holder and windscreen, while pistol grip, zeppelin, etc. are available as accessories.
