Laney DIGBETH FOUNDRY DBF200

The Laney DBF200 is a 200-watt RMS bass combo from the Digbeth Foundry series, equipped with a 15-inch HH AUDIO Blue professional woofer. It combines a clean FET channel with an overdrive channel and provides a range of controls for shaping your bass tone.

Dual channels and MIX function

The DBF200 features two channels: a clean FET channel and an overdrive channel with separate DRIVE and VOLUME controls. The MIX setting combines the clear, precise bass tone of the FET channel with the warmth and articulation of the DRIVE channel.

Tone controls

• Switchable preshape with an EQ curve that cuts the mids, pushes the lows and enhances the top end.
• 3-band EQ with Bass (±12 dB), Middle (±12 dB) and Treble (±12 dB).
• The midrange section offers four selectable voicing options.
• TILT is a dynamic see-saw EQ control with a neutral centre position. Turning it clockwise increases the mid-to-high frequencies and reduces the lows; turning it anticlockwise reduces the mid-to-high frequencies and increases the lows.
• Master Volume for setting the final volume after the preamp drive and volume controls. Increasing the Master Volume does not inherently change the amplifier’s tone.

Connectivity

• 3.5 mm stereo AUX input for connecting an external audio source and playing along with audio tracks.
• 3.5 mm stereo headphone output for monitoring or silent practice.
• FX Loop for connecting external effects devices.
• FX Send also functions as a line output.
• Balanced male XLR DI output sourced before the FET/DRIVE channels and EQ (pre-EQ).
• Footswitch socket for remote control of Drive/Mix with an optional FS-1 MINI.

The DI output is sourced from the front stage of the amplifier. For an output after the FET/DRIVE channels and EQ, use the FX Send/Line Out.

• 15 mm plywood cabinet designed for strength, reduced weight and a resonant, natural tonal character.
