The story of Fender's modular design began in 1946, and guitarists have been writing their own chapters ever since. Our pioneering bolt-on neck construction wasn't just about making guitars easier to service—it was about giving players the power to shape their sound. Today, every genuine Fender replacement neck carries that legacy forward, offering endless possibilities for customization, restoration and reinvention.
Crafted in the same facility as our U.S.-made instruments, the American Professional Classic Stratocaster neck works well with almost any playing style. It features a comfortable "Modern C" neck profile with a satin urethane finish for a smooth, fast playing feel. Compared with most U- and V-shaped neck profiles, the Modern C profile is less deep, while the 9.5"-radius fingerboard with medium jumbo frets provides fast fretting, easy playability and fluid leads with choke-free bends. Hand-rolled fingerboard edges add a slightly broken-in feel.
The synthetic bone nut is made of melamine and measures 1.685" in width. It is pre-slotted with "pilot" string location grooves to make spacing easier when performing the final string-slot filing, while offering resonance and sustain. For true Fender authenticity, the neck is also serialized and laser engraved with the “Genuine Fender Parts” logo on the heel.
This replacement neck is for a Fender or Squier by Fender guitar.
