A complete set of electric guitar strings designed for drop tuning. The DDT-13 set features gauges from 13 to 65, delivering a clear, precise sound and stable tuning with minimal need for adjustment.

• String gauges: 13-17-22-42w-56w-65w
• Coated hexagonal core
• Wound with nickel-plated steel wire
• Optimized for drop tuning

The hexagonal core is coated with a special lacquer before being wound with nickel-plated steel wire. This coating process helps keep the winding in place and protects the core against corrosion. The result is a string set that maintains its tone and intonation for longer than traditional strings.

DR Strings combines a strong craft tradition with significant investment in innovation and product development. The company is known for having a workforce made up of active musicians, and everyone joining the DR team undergoes six months of training in string making.
