The DOD Gonkulator Ring Modulator delivers all the clangy, robotic sounds of the infamous original from the ’90s.

Pairing an adjustable carrier signal with a revamped distortion circuit, the Gonkulator essentially combines two effects in one chassis. Controls for ring, frequency, gain and distortion provide control over the effect.

It delivers the weird modulation character of the original ’90s model while also covering distorted experimental territory. The pedal pushes boundaries with modulating effects limited only by your imagination, from bell-like clangs to spastic robotic breakdowns.
